z220.org layouts, Zeenip Puzzlespielhafen

This is the harbour area, there is space for an inglenook puzzle down by the harbour. I might mirror this module round the other way, since German trains run on the right which would make getting in a bit hard. When connected to the station module this isn't a big problem as there are set of track swapping points just infront of the harbour.

Again I've coloured the layout in to give a bit more of an idea of what I'm up to. The harbour module will use the electromagnet decoupling from system jorger to give a reliable inglenook. The inglenook should be big enough if you use the small tankers as the cars to be shuffled around. (I have enough of these where each one is different)

The area at the front left will be a loading area, but I haven't quite decided what will live there.

I've used the small Märklin 8510 sectional track for the layout plan, but I'll use flex track in the real thing, since the curves are actually hidden they won't give that nasty overhang effect with larger bits of rollingstock.

Unlike the rest of the layout, the spur down to the harbour doesn't have any catenary (although the main lines do).

This module is the one that I'd really like to have finished by October
